What People's Say About Place

Five stars not only for great coffee without all the plastic of K-cups but also for customer service. Within hours of me emailing a question to the company, I received an answer with several solutions from the customer service representative. I am very impressed!

I used to love this coffee but the last box I bought from Costco has had many pods break open in my Keurig, leaving a mess of grounds to clean up. Perhaps the commercially compostable rim can't handle the heat from my Keurig. Update: I have not had an issue since the original bad batch. I really enjoy this coffee. It's great tasting and a good value. Moving to 5 stars again.

This is my all-time favorite coffee! For years and years I was not able to drink any coffee, even decaf because I have PVCs and PACs that affect my heart, which gives me skipped heartbeats. When I tried this coffee, it is the only coffee that does not affect my heart!!! I am so ecstatic over this! I always buy the gorilla decaf, it’s my favorite and I buy the whole bean. My GAGGIA Anima Prestige coffee brewer has a built in coffee grinder and this does not clog the burrs. I have been using this in my machine for over six years and no problems. There is nothing like a fresh brewed cappuccino using freshly ground beans right before the brew! I just ordered three more bags, although I have two on hand, I’d like to have more just in case lol! So I’m hoping my new order will have a further out expiration date. I love this brand and hope they continue to make the gorilla decaf!

It sounds overblown by me but I have never had a richer pod coffee which tastes as good as brewed dark roast

I order the hazelnut creme whole beans. Great coffee flavorful and rich. I also appreciate the social causes they support

Great coffee. Great customer service. Highly recommend I have been buying coffee pods from San Francisco Bat Coffee for years. I love the taste and sustainability efforts. Recently I had an issue with some of my coffee pods. I contacted customer service to let them know about a defect. They responded quickly and efficiently and offered to replace my order without asking. Great coffee. Great customer service. Highly recommend

Funny story how I got hooked onto the one cup pods of Organic Rainforest blend. My local Wegman's had the 10 or 12 pack on sale, so since it was organic- I grabbed it (wish i had grabbed more, price was fantastic). When I got it home and went to brew a cup, the pods were wrapped in a Commercially Compostable bag, and I noticed they were actual pods rather than the plastic k-cup and initially got concerned it wouldn't be compatible with my Ninja brewer. Pleasantly suprised of the compatibility, I REALLY enjoyed the brew, so I ordered from Amazon a box of 80. Those arrived within 2 days, and this time I ordered directly from SFB a box of 120. I was offered a first time discount, and with the shipping costs, it seemed the most economical of options to go with the 120qty. However, the shipping is not as fast as Amazon. I guess I waited too long to order, and now I'll have to supplement until 4 more days when my order arrives. Amazon is the way to go if you need shipping to the East Coast. From SFB it's about a week out. However, the coffee has become our everyday brew, and I even keep a stash at work for me to brew during the week. I threw a few one cup pods in my mature compost, so we'll see what happens, but I really do love the idea of the less waste cups. I even considered going to a french press for waste's sake. We consume 80-85% organic in our home, so that really matters to me. We're HUGE coffee snobs, and over the past 20yrs. serving coffee to our house guests only bolsters my ego when they tell us we serve the best coffees at our house- so not any coffee can fly at the Martinez residence. Plus, my husband is from Honduras, so I really like buying coffee that supports the farmers of his home country, and he appreciates it. L&L from Pennsylvania.

We've been enjoying San Fran Fog Chaser Coffee for many years. We began ordering the Fog Chaser version in their recyclable K-cups. About 5 years ago, we upgraded by buying, whole bean coffee, by the bag, delivered every four weeks. Our tastes, had matured and outgrew the K-cup. We now enjoy grinding their fresh roasted beans, just before brewing, each morning. Then were rewarded with the incredible aroma as it brews and then enjoying the taste, smoothness of each an every cup.
